Position Summary

We are looking for an eager, proactive, and enthusiastic marketer who is ready to play a critical role in bringing our Great Place to Work For All Summit to life. This highly visible role will develop and execute strategies to grow Great Place to Work's Annual Summit audience and opportunities to develop deeper relationships with clients through in-person and virtual events throughout the year. The ideal candidate is comfortable thinking through both the strategy and the details required to execute, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams. With a passion for data-driven growth marketing and nurturing, this role will be key in advancing Great Place to Work's mission in transforming the world by helping organizations to create great places to work for all. We have no shortage of great ideas,  but need your strategic vision and execution skills to bring them to life. You’ll spend your days building tactical plans to test new programs to recruit attendees for the Summit, copywriting, and sourcing content for the desired marketing programs, and working collaboratively to launch in the appropriate channels. You’ll have multiple tests running at once, each with a specific desired outcome and deadline. At the end of each test, you’ll tell us 1) what we learned from the program, and 2) whether to pivot or double-down and operationalize the program. You should consider yourself a “scrappy” marketer that can work hands on to figure out the logistics and needs of a particular campaign – but also one that knows when it’s time to get out of the “weeds.” Speed and simplicity are mission critical for you to succeed in this role and you’ll need to be extremely metrics and deadline driven. 
 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to develop and own overarching marketing plan for our 2020 Great Place to Work For All Summit (and beyond) aimed at exceeding our registration revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute event marketing campaigns, in conjunction with a holistic view of the ongoing marketing calendar, to create an integrated, personalized experience for prospects and customers pre and post events.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, events, demand gen, product, and customer marketing functions to coordinate and execute on all programs, ensuring campaigns are customer-centric and support Great Place to Work’s brand priorities.
  • Analyze previous campaign, channel and customer data to inform planning and personalization strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners, identify opportunities to broaden and/or strengthen partner relationships that drive greater demand generation effectiveness, reach and efficiency—such as HRCI, Chambers of Commerce, and the co-chairs and other sponsors.
  • Build a strategy for continuing the Summit excitement throughout the year in a digital format; for example, hosting “Great Place to Work For All Summit” webinars every 6-8 weeks showcasing the most popular content from the previous Summit and using this as an opportunity to expose our audience to what they can expect to learn at the 2021 Summit.
  • Partner with sales to create enablement materials and campaigns that create and accelerate revenue opportunities with attendees pre and post events.
  • Expand on current influencer strategy, identifying top thoughts leaders that would be beneficial to have in our network of Summit promoters and working to build relationships with these individuals.
  • Bridge offline and online presence through search, social, paid media, mobile, etc. to create a consistent, nurturing experience across channels that generates excitement and engagement for our annual Summit and events.
  • Socialize marketing strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective performance management across the organization.
  • Support regional event and speaking opportunities, developing standards for and sourcing promotional campaigns, collateral, booth materials, and giveaways.
  • Develop and execute local roadshows to further grow our Certified Community footprint.

What Should You Have:

  • A proven 3+ years track record in excelling in digital marketing, demand generation, or field marketing.
  • B2B tech marketing experience with a talent for identifying programs that drive results and resonate with internal stakeholders.
  • Direct experience planning and executing marketing campaigns, end-to-end, against measurable goals.
  • Experience translating specialist subject-matter content into digestible, actionable and engaging learning experiences for business professionals.
  • Possess exceptionally strong writing & messaging experience and skills: Be able to write strong and compelling subject lines, landing page headlines, social media posts.
  • Data-driven team member who will own demand gen metrics, perform campaign analysis, and derive insights for marketing and the business overall.
  • Multi-channel marketer with working knowledge of most/all marketing channels and vehicles: website, events, email, social, blogs, webinars, community.
  • Proven excellence with project management across multiple teams and work streams.
  • A background in designing and producing content and programs utilizing live and on-demand online training, webinars, content management systems, email campaigns and in-person sessions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience building programs in Salesforce, Bizzabo, and Marketo is a plus.
