About the Position
We are seeking a driven, hunter-minded Account Manager to oversee a current portfolio of 200+ accounts. This person will focus on identifying new growth opportunities within existing accounts while closely partnering with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to ensure retention, satisfaction, and expansion. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where building relationships and driving revenue are equally important.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Own a current portfolio of 200–250 accounts across Customer Cohorts
Serve as the primary point of contact for decision-makers and influencers.
Implement and maintain a consistent outreach rhythm to ensure ongoing engagement with accounts
Log all sales activities in Salesforce in alignment with our established sales and campaign workflows.
Capture and share customer feedback consistently, ensuring visibility across Marketing, Operations, and other key stakeholders and teams.
Growth & Expansion (Hunter Mindset)
Identify, qualify, and close upsell and upgrade opportunities across the portfolio.
Combine intelligence from data, AI tools, and customer success feedback to focus on growth-ready accounts
Drive consistent pipeline growth and surpass sales goals through targeted, proactive outreach within your account base.
Retention & Collaboration
Own portfolio retention in collaboration with CSMs, focusing on customer health, product adoption, and satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Support) to resolve issues and strengthen customer relationships.
Mitigate churn risks by engaging stakeholders early and strategically.
Business Planning
Design and implement strategic growth plans tailored to high-value customer accounts.
Monitor account engagement, forecast revenue, and report pipeline status with accuracy and consistency
Provide regular feedback to leadership on market trends and customer needs.
Shape, iterate, and scale our sales strategy, taking initiative to improve the team's practices, tools, and content
Participate fully in team meetings and contribute to real-time solutions as needed
Required Qualifications
5+ years in account management, sales, or business development roles, ideally in SaaS, HR tech, employee experience platforms, or related role.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas with a hunter/new business mindset.
Ability to manage a large, diverse portfolio with discipline and urgency.
Leverages broad business insight to shape strategies and deliver impactful solutions across diverse markets and organizational structures.
Effectively organizes and prioritizes tasks to oversee high-volume customer portfolios
Excellent communication, negotiation, executive presence, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms such as Gong and Sales Navigator.
Success Metrics
Net revenue growth across assigned portfolio.
Retention rate of accounts in collaboration with CSMs.
Consistent achievement of expansion targets.
Customer satisfaction and engagement scores.

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for commissions and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
